FAQ's
Q: What does the monthly payment cover? A: Monthly tuition is divided into equal payments for simplicity—it remains the same regardless of how many classes fall in a given month. Your tuition includes: • At least 34 weekly group piano classes • Three virtual recitals throughout the year • Themed events every two months • Access to practice videos and lesson notes • Mid-week teacher support and feedback opportunities • A fun and structured program to help your child grow in confidence and creativity! Piano books are not included in the tuition fee.
Q: When are your group classes offered? A: Group classes are held during daytime hours—typically late morning to early afternoon—to best support homeschooling families. After our discovery call, we’ll work together to find a time that fits your schedule. We also do our best to group students by age and ability level to ensure a positive, connected learning experience.
Q: What if my child misses a class? A: We’ve got you covered! You’ll receive a recording of the class and practice notes (often with short highlight clips) so your child can review and stay caught up at home. Live make-ups are not offered for group classes, but our support materials are easy to follow and help maintain progress.
Q: Can I cancel lessons at any time? A: Yes — simply provide 30 days’ written notice. Your final tuition payment will cover the next billing cycle, and your child may continue attending during that time.
Q: Is there a registration fee? A: Not this year! The $50 registration fee is waived for all 2025–2026 students.
Q: What does my child need at home for piano class? A: To set your child up for success, please make sure they have: • A digital or acoustic piano (minimum 61 keys, touch-sensitive, with damper pedal) • A laptop or tablet (phones are discouraged) • A tablet/laptop stand (adjustable height highly encouraged) • A quiet, distraction-free space • A caregiver nearby during class to assist if needed • Headphones (optional)
Q: What does my child need at home for singing class? A: To set your child up for success, please make sure they have: • A laptop or tablet • A tablet/laptop stand (adjustable height highly encouraged) • A quiet, distraction-free space • A caregiver nearby during class to assist if needed • Headphones (optional) • External microphone (optional)
Q: Which video platform will we be using for online classes? A: We use Muzie — an interactive video platform built just for music education. It delivers crystal-clear sound, no special settings needed. Music sounds exactly the way it should—no more toggling “original sound” like on Zoom.
Q: How many students are in a small group class? A: Up to 6 students
Q: Can I switch to a different time or day halfway through the year? A: Only if there is availability.
